Services

Four specialisms. What we do and what you get.

We advise and build across four areas. Most clients start with one question, and only know which area fits best after the first conversation.

Solution architecture

Which platform fits your data, your scale, your budget? We map what you have, what you need, and what it costs, at current scale and as you grow. The result: an architecture you can defend and then actually build.

What you get

  • 01 Inventory of what you have and what's missing
  • 02 Reference architecture with a clear tooling recommendation
  • 03 Cost estimate at current scale and as you grow
  • 04 Phased roadmap: what happens when, what it costs
  • 05 Build/buy/keep recommendation per layer of the platform

Not sure whether to start with architecture? That's normal. Tell us what you want to achieve. We'll tell you where we'd begin.

Data engineering

A data platform only works when the data is actually in it. We connect your source systems (databases, APIs, sensors, files) and translate the data into a usable format and keep it reliable day to day. Cloud-native or on-prem, whatever fits.

What you get

  • 01 Connections to your source systems: databases, APIs, files, IoT
  • 02 Data transformation and orchestration: dbt, Airflow or native cloud tooling
  • 03 Real-time processing for operational data that can't wait
  • 04 Data quality, monitoring and alerting, built in from day one

Data engineering rarely makes sense as a starting point if you don't know where you stand. If you're not sure, start with the conversation; we'll help you work out the right sequence.

Dashboards & reporting

Dashboards people open daily because they find them useful, not because they have to. Usually the fastest proof the platform is working. Power BI, Tableau, Looker: your preference or our recommendation, depending on what you already have.

What you get

  • 01 Operational dashboards that get used daily
  • 02 Management reporting based on agreed KPI definitions
  • 03 Self-service reports your team can adapt themselves, with a short handover
  • 04 Access management, refresh schedules and governance, documented and handed over

Dashboards are often what clients want first, and sometimes they're the right place to start. But a dashboard without solid data underneath doesn't last. We'll help you work out what needs to come first.

Data analytics

Once the platform is there and the data is reliable, the real work begins: understanding what the data is saying. KPIs, patterns, forecasting. And AI, but only where it surfaces something you couldn't have seen yourself. We'll also tell you when that isn't the case.

What you get

  • 01 Analysis of what's in the data: patterns, outliers, relationships
  • 02 KPI definitions that everyone in the organisation understands and trusts
  • 03 Forecasting and predictive models, only where the data supports it
  • 04 Your team learns to read the data themselves; we build the tooling and run the handover
  • 05 AI applied where it makes a demonstrable difference, not as the default answer

Analytics is usually the last step, once the data is already in good shape. If you're earlier in the journey, that's where we start. Tell us where you are.
